We are looking for a passionate SEO and WordPress Developer to join our team!
As an SEO and WordPress Developer, you are required to execute search engine optimization techniques for marketing activities. You will also be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function according to clients and internal team specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress sites
2. Designing and implementing new features and functionality
3. Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
4. Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugins
5. Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
6. Optimizing page speed of WordPress sites and implementing SEO best practices in WordPress sites
7. Work on technical aspects of SEO, including link-building, on-page/off-page optimization, directory submissions, backlink strategy implementation, link wheeling and more
8. Keeping up to date with the most recent developments in SEO, social media and internet marketing industry trends
Skills and Expertise:
1. Minimum Qualification-Bachelor's in any related field
2. Experience: 1-2 years of previous work experience in SEO and WordPress is required
3. A clear understanding of SEO and growing traffic through social platforms
4. Must have worked on Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Google Webmaster Tools
5. Working knowledge of front-end web technologies (WordPress, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS)
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects
8. The ability to meet deadlines is an essential prerequisite for this position along with the ability to communicate effectively with team
