The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
The Product Manager is expected to :
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Get understood the tech team about the client requirement
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
- Perform product demos to customers
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Deliver a monthly revenue forecast
- Seek, process and execute client requests and product orders.
- Propose an overall budget to ensure success
- Brief press and analysts and go on press tours
- Act as a leader within the company
Requirements :
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Ability to gather the client requirement and share it with the team and give them a brief understanding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have graduated in B.Tech,B.Sc,M.Tech,M Sc (plus MBA would be an advantage)
- Technical background, with experience in wordpress,php and deep knowledge in wireframing
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel 20% of the time
