We are looking for an experienced and passionate full-stack WordPress Developer to join our IT team! As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
- Establishing and guiding the website's architecture.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Experience creating custom themes and custom WordPress plugins.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}.
- Previous experience of developing websites in Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Experience and understanding of MySQL and MariaDB.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Good communication skills.
Benefits
- Job Type: This is a full-time contractual role, with one year of contract. There will be scope of extending the contract depending on the candidate's performance.
- Probation Period: There is a 1-month probation period before the contract begins, to evaluate the skill-levels of the candidate.
- Compensation: Salary will be INR 4,80,000 per annum
- Working Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
