Node.js Developer - Application Designing & Implementation (0-2 yrs) (Smidee Talent Network)

Bangalore based Edtech company is looking for a Node.js Developer to join their fun & energetic team who are running at full speed to ignite a digital disruption in EdTech. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities :

- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.

- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

- Integration of data storage solutions (DynamoDB/MongoDB)

- Migration/development of legacy (PHP, MySQL, Wordpress) products.

- Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem.

Skills And Qualifications :

- 1-2yrs of experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

- Previous working experience as a Node.js Developer for 2+ years.

- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, Mongoose, OAuth2.

- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

- Good understanding of server-side templating languages. (TS/EJS)

- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.

- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Experience with handling Services, RESTful, APIs.

- Exposure to Cloud Environments like AWS, or Google Cloud.
