Paper Plane is looking for a self-driven Front End developer for our Mumbai office, who can bridge the gap between the design and engineering team to deliver pixel perfect rich user interfaces and interactions.

Responsibilities :
1. Convert a design mock up to a Light, Clean, Semantic, Scalable, Section 508 complaint interface adhering to W3C standards
2. Work closely with the Team leads and PM's to deliver pixel perfect, bug free interface by writing quality code and within estimated timeline
3. Optimize the interface across various Browsers/Devices/Platform
4. Develop screen interactions, carousel, photo gallery, form validations using custom/existing Javascript/jQuery libraries or customize them.
5. Familiarity with Atomic web design
6. Develop Emailers for different email Clients/Browsers and devices
7. Optimize the page for various search engines by following standard SEO guidelines
8. Test and optimize the page for performance specially using Google page speed and ySlow
9. Work closely with design and backend team to seamlessly integrate a pixel perfect interface with backend code (PHP or any other language /framework)
10. Contribute to build Paper Plane proprietary re-usable code libraries and frameworks.
11. Make Changes/Updates to client websites and online products
Requirements :
1-3 years hands on experience with the following :
1. HTML5/ CSS3
2. LESS / SASS
3. Photoshop
4. Javascript/jQuery
5. Chrome developer tool
6. UI Frameworks

1. SVG, Canvas
2. Experienced in Angular/backbone/templating systems
3. Have tried writing full stack Javascript applications
4. Integration with third party API's such as FB, Twitter, Sound cloud
5. Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento
