The Job :
You will be responsible for :
- Leading a team of engineers to deliver winning products.
- Ensuring the development of well-designed and testable code.
- Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
- Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
The Profile :
- You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- You have at least 2 years experience, within a Software Engineer or similar role.
- You possess strong knowledge of PHP, Codeigniter, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax, CSS
- Having knowledge on Angular and Node.Js (Stack) would be beneficial
- You have demonstrated proficiency with LAMP architecture (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- You have demonstrated proficiency with scripting - Python/Perl and well versed in MVC architecture.
- You have hands on experience with MySQL (Indexing, Scaling)
- You have good understanding of RESTful API development
- You are good in Bootstrap and Responsive web development.
- You have on an expert level Object Oriented Design, and MVC (Multi-Tier Architecture/ Framework)
- Having good understanding of R Programming, Solr, Sphinx will be an added advantage
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
