Roles and Responsibility :
1. As a Full Stack Web Developer candidate will be tasked with building new functionality from initial requirements gathering and design, to implementation, to production release.
2. This individual will work closely with the Engineering team, lead and develop solutions that meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
3. As a Developer, you will also play a key role in maintaining and refactoring the existing codebase strong debugging and troubleshooting skills are essential to the position.
4. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
5. Strong technical skills and hands on engineering and coding is vital.
6. Familiarity with new technologies in the cloud and web space is critical
7. Prior experience and exposure to handing data analytics solutions will be a differentiator.
8. Responsible for on-time delivery of quality work
Desired Candidate Profile :
1. Prior experience working in a start up
2. Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant field with 2+ yrs work experience
3. Strong experience with PHP, including demonstrated knowledge of modern language features
4. Strong experience with frontend development, including proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
5. Experience with MySQL and a solid understanding of database design principles
6. Working knowledge of Linux command line, including basic system administration
7. Ability to lead a team
8. Strong knowledge of security issues and addressing common vulnerabilities
9. Experience with providing mentorship and guidance to other team members in the group.
10. Understanding of Dev Ops processes
11. Working with AWS - Amazon Web Services
12. Knowledge in Design Patterns, Advanced Caching System like Redis and Memcached.
13. Knowledge in Advanced PHP and Frameworks like Laravel
14. Knowledge in Rest API services design and implementation
15. Knowledge in Searching component like Elastic search, Cloud search and Solr
