- The ideal Senior Developer will be somebody who's a bit of an all-rounder, who can roll up their sleeves to get stuck in. There will also be opportunities to work on our mobile application framework. Start date is immediate.

What you'll do :
- Develop and extend the reach of our existing applications for the backend platform.
- Collaborate with our product specialists to deliver features and continue to optimise their performance post-release.
- Develop and produce functional solutions in accordance with architecture design standards and code standards.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Take part in code reviews for other developers
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the team resulting in greater efficiency, quality, and productivity
Preferred Profile :
- 4+ years of experience in backend/server-side development
- Candidate must have completed project in Angular and node framework.
- Strong experience with Node.js 8+, Angular 7.0, Lambda function and PHP 7+
- Highly skilled within Back End development
- RESTFUL Web Services, API's and/or Microservices
- Used a TDD approach & common testing tools
- Security conscious, knowledgeable of best practices around building secure applications
- Comfortable in a cloud computing environment (AWS)
- Strong knowledge of Node.js 8+, PHP, Angular 7.0, MySQL, Lambda functions.
- Hands on knowledge of JSON/REST/XML/SOAP Web Services, Queues, AWS, OAuth and Node.js development tools like npm, nvm, grunt, gulp, brunch, broccoli, etc.
- Hands on experience in writing queries and optimizing them for large data sets in MongoDB and MySQL.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
- Strong knowledge of the common Node.js or web server exploits and their solutions.
- Good knowledge of version control tool such as GIT and SVN.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Knowledge to implement the Mix panel Analytics integration.
Other desired areas of expertise:
- Knowledge of server less or FaaS paradigm.
- Understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Server less Application development with AWS lambda and Kotlin or React.
- Good knowledge of React / Redux framework.
- Worked as part of Agile, Scrum, XP or Kanban teams.
- Oauth authentication.
- Quality-led approach to development (TDD and BDD).
- Security conscious, knowledgeable of best practices around building secure applications.
