Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a diverse team to achieve excellence in software development
- Ensures the best practices around software development.
- Estimate, plan, and execute Sprints to deliver frequent releases
- Hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team.
- Manage day-to-day activities of the engineering team using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Provide regular reports on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.
Must-Have Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline from a Tier-1/reputed college
- Deep Hands-on Coding/development experience of a minimum of 4 years
- 3-4 years of experience as a Development Manager/Technical Lead or in a supervisory role
- Very strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms & System/Code performance
- Experience with web services (RESTful, GraphQL)
- Strong experience in MYSQL Database Schema design.
- Understands AWS cloud infrastructure EC2/RDS/ELB/EBS/S3/Cloudfront/VPC etc.
- Strong understanding of GIT, branching strategies, and Release planning
- Build/Release (CI/CD, Test Automation, DevOps)
- Knowledge of some frontend JavaScript frameworks React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
Preferred Qualifications :
- 3+ Years of experience with Magento 2.x (Commerce / Enterprise) & PHP development for a leading e-commerce store is desirable
- Strong understanding of Magento's code, extensions, themes and fall back components
- Experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- Experience in ERP/CRM integrations with E-commerce shop backend is a huge plus
- Magento Certification is a huge plus
- Good knowledge of Headless Architecture (PWA, SPA).
