Position : Senior Software Engineer
Location : Bangalore
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Be responsible for the development and testing of product initiatives and feature development
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
- Work closely with QA to identify and fix issues
- Prototype and deliver innovative solutions to problems statements
- Write Unit Tested code
- Perform code reviews
- Write performant & reusable systems and abstractions
- Actively participate in designing of features & product development
- Collaborate with Product, UX & other Engg teams and actively participate in solutions
- Take full ownership of a few services
Experience / Skills Required :
- B.E. in Computer Science / MCA with 4+ years of experience in product development.
- Strong experience in developing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed backend services.
- Strong experience programming in - Java and NodeJs. - PHP experience is a plus.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Strong experience with async workflows and messaging queues such as RabbitMq, Kafka, etc.
- Experience in supporting, modifying, and maintaining systems and code developed by others.
- Experience with AWS cloud platform a great plus.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS/ReactJS a great plus.
- Familiarity with the AWS cloud platform.
- Must be open to experimenting with new technologies.
- Must be able to work independently and enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation Structure :
The structure would be base + variable and is open for discussion depending on the background and experience of the candidate.
