Roles and Responsibilities :
- Building backend APIs,
- Developing Magento/php modules
- Testing website performance, and updating security patchestroubleshooting interface issues
- Module development, debugging and customization require JS
- Experience in multi-store e-commerce implementations
- Having a good understanding of Magento code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fall back components
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Hands-on experience in working of Magento version 1 & 2.
- Regularly update our Magento projects
- Install security patches
- Develop new functionality
- Experienced in modules/extensions development/customization.
- Experienced in Theme integration/customization (Theme development from scratch)
- Experienced in API creation/integration.
- Having a good understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fall back components
- Thorough experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- Experience in multi-store e-commerce implementations.
- Work on bug fixing, identifying performance issues and improving application performance
- Competent with PHP object-oriented programming, MVC applications, and MySQL-based database concepts
- Should have strong knowledge of OOPS, MVC architecture.
- Expertise in GIT-based source control & deployment strategies.
- Experience with caching and scaling techniques
- Experience building REST API for functions that can be used/consumed on the web
