Technical Specialist - Full Stack Development - PHP/MySQL (10-17 yrs) (Pyramid Solutions)

Position Objective :

Technical specialist responsible for full-stack, full cycle, development in PHP. This includes coding, requirements gathering, prototyping, database designing, full-stack, full cycle development and building U/X. Will participate in the process from planning to execution, including developing the appropriate solutions hands-on with the team. Should have experience with all facets of design, development and delivery of large enterprise applications. The position is more on back-end PHP development rather than a U/X.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand and actively participate in agile development.

- Deep knowledge of back-end applications, database access, and OO techniques.

- Understand how to design classes

- Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale

- Mentoring team members.

- Understand how Frameworks function.

- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

- Solid knowledge of relational databases

- The position involves a high degree of interaction with various types of end-users, and as such good communication skills are essential.

Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement :

- Expert level PHP with Strong Back-end (Linux) admin and scripting experience is a must.

- Excellent relational database skills with MySQL, including profiling

- Solid GIT experience

- Able to solve complex problems in Design and Data Analysis.

- Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design

- Solid Linux system coding paradigm

- Expert level HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery

- Experience writing Web services

- Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, etc.

- Experience with PHP exploits and their solutions

- Apache / Nginx

- Encryption

- LinkedIn / Job-board Integration experience

- Exchange integration
