Job Description :
- Excellent opportunity for Magento specialists to design and build next-gen eCommerce webstore for a huge range of home and DIY goods.
- Velocitai has partnered with UK's leading wholesale suppliers and marketplace retailers of home goods to create and implement a holistic D2C strategy in UK & Europe.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop responsive, GDPR compliant and SEO aligned e-Commerce store
- Integration with external/ancillary systems such as payment channels, fulfillment/CRM/Shipping systems
- Development / integration with Magento extensions
- Write, debug and test code that conforms with web standards and industry best practices
- Deployment and ongoing maintenance of the webstore
Knowledge & Skill :
- 3 - 8 years of experience working with Magento
- In-depth knowledge of Magento 2's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy,
- Must have worked for at least 2 end-to-end eCommerce projects
- Excellent front-end design skills using HTML5, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, jQuery.
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards
- Experience in creating applications using a framework such as CodeIgniter, LAMP, Zend, Yii, Laravel, etc.
- Ability to integrate Magento 2 Theme & Custom Module Development.
- Analytical ability to corelate design decisions with Web Analytics and SEO techniques
- In-depth understanding of delivery lifecycle (design, development, QA, deployment)
- Effective communication skills
