A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of hands on experience in LAMP and at least 3 years in PHP development with frameworks like Laravel/ Codeigniter.
- Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Development (OOD) and associated Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Hands on experience in programming languages for developing dynamic Web Applications.
- An understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, etc.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
- Experience in common third-party API's (Google, Facebook, etc).
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
Role & Responsiblities :
- As a Senior LAMP Developer, you will be responsible for writing server-side web application logic. You will develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle.
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience team.
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to deliver and post launch support.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.
- Define and rollout development standards and documentation.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
