We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills ( PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Work with UI Designers and Project Managers to deliver high-quality websites that work flawlessly on any device
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Write extremely clean and compliant HTML5, CSS3 code
- Discover, Test & Suggest a multitude of javascript enhancements that make life easy for the end-user
- Be highly mindful of the user experience and work with Project Managers to ensure a pleasurable experience for website visitors
- Integrate the website with Content Management Systems: WordPress, Drupal
- Use front end automation tools like Gulp & Grunt to build and deploy websites
Requirements :
- Quality front end development experience
- Firm grasp of HTML, CSS, and concepts of responsiveness
- Proven experience of working with multiple JS libraries
- An eye for detail
- A very strong front end development portfolio
- Knowledge of WordPress theme is a must
- Experience with Drupal, Magento, Woocommerce will be preferred
- Proficient understanding of Git
- Remuneration at par with Industry Standards. For the right candidate, ESOPs might also be made available.
