Wordpress/PHP Technical Team Lead
We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Technical Team Lead to join our team! As the Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our 16 websites incl. Lifestyle Asia, Prestige, Augustman, Travel + Leisure as well as our (future) ecommerce shops. Thereby, you will be closely working with our teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and India.

You will be responsible for :
- Building a team of developers, QA for backend and frontend development for our magazines and eCommerce shops
- Setting up agile processes, managing sprints, setting up deployment systems
- Ensuring code quality is maintained and re-engineering where necessary
- Project management, managing timelines and communicating with the business stakeholders across the region
- Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Creating and maintaining software documentation
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 5+ years of full stack PHP, Wordpress, WooCommerce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL development skills (other languages beneficial)
- 2+ years Project Management experience, Scrum certifications are beneficial
- 2+ years of Technical Managerial experience
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Experience in writing test cases.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Knowledge of how to interact with formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git and Mercurial)
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development Experience with web servers (Nginx/Apache)

- Fluent English speaking/writing skills
