Objective/scope : To oversee a team of personnel focused on technical issues, including software development, product releases, and engineering tasks, delegating work assignments, creating service goals for their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Own PHP platform and having experience of building and managing development teams around the platform.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Contributes to the strategic vision and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding applications and software development.
- Provide architectural oversite & direction for application development, including in the following areas: micro-service design, integration design, application/solution architecture, cloud/network gateway, data architecture, performance monitoring & design, and systems engineering.
- Articulates design and resolves technical/design conflicts as they occur.
- Lead resolution of technical issues, to ensure architecture integrity is maintained
- To develop scalable, flexible, efficient and supportable solutions using appropriate technologies .
- Guiding team in defining technical architecture of product.
- Manage the work of developer resources, mentoring and coaching as needed.
- Provide solutions to technical issues and responsible for meeting development schedules
- Constantly reviewing the code and maintain quality of the design
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 yr experience in a product based startup company.
- BE/ B.Tech/ MCA or Diploma in Web development with 8+ years experience in PHP, Mysql, Mongodb, Jquery, SASS.
- Minimum experience of 2-3 years in team management.
- Experence in Mysql, Mongodb, Jquery, SASS.
- Excellent command on algorithms, data structure.
- Strong knowledge on AWS/Server experience
- Ability to develop complex SQL queries and database schema design.
- Knowledge of APIs integration
- Experience on PHP, PHP Frameworks, Ajax, Knowledge on CMS platform like Opencart, payment gateway integration, experience working on portals.
- Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
