The platform helps predict demand, localises inventory management, takes the replenishment / ordering system online and introduces new data sources.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead a diverse team to achieve excellence in software development
- Ensures the best practices around software development.
- Estimate, plan, and divide projects to deliver frequent value to production.
- Hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team.
- Manage day-to-day activities of engineering team using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Provide regular reports on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.
Basic Qualifications :
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams
- Experience building and managing software systems
- 2-3 years as a Development Manager or in supervisory role
- 8+ Years of experience with Magento & PHP development for a leading e-commerce store
- Experience working with Magento 2.3.x
- Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL)
- Strong experience on MYSQL Database design.
- Well versed with GIT Version Control Systems
- Knowledge of different branching strategies and Release planning
- Magento Build / Release (CI/CD, Test Automation, DevOps)
- Deep knowledge on Headless Architecture is required (PWA, SPA).
- Understands AWS cloud infrastructure that is required for Magento Commerce cloud hosting.
- Expert understanding of Magento's code, extensions, themes and fall back components
- Experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- Knowledge of JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery
- Magento Certification is a huge plus
- Experience in ERP or CRM integrations with Magento is a huge plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience in eCommerce and Deep hands-on technical expertise
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with service oriented architectures and web based solutions.
- Experience building scalable infrastructure software
- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
- Proven ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
