Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the development of a quality-driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly and with good confidence.
- Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high-quality bar.
- Spearhead efforts to improve our engineering team's test coverage, release velocity and production health.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a comprehensive picture of velocity, coverage and quality.
- Plan, develop and execute test strategy across core Affinity products and platforms.
- Help tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to improve quality.
- Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts across multiple products.
- Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product.
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure the reliability of product.
Ideal Candidate Requirements :
- You have the skills of a Software Developer, but keenly interested in quality and testing aspects. Experience working with the development team hand in hand in reviewing the code and also debugging/investigating issues whenever needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.
- Experience in Grey Box Testing.
- Software Development Experience in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent coding language.
- Experience in testing and debugging web or mobile applications.
- Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.
- Ability to read/write production-quality code and debug/investigate issues at the code level.
- Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining quality test automation of both client and server systems.
- Communication, analytical and problem-solving experience.
- Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools & automation frameworks.
