Job Description :
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is mandatory).
- A working understanding of code and script for one or more languages (i.e. PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, Node.js).
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Knowledge of containerizing tools such as Docker / Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.
Responsibilities :
- Manages lifecycle and release management processes on cloud (Public - AWS, Google or Private).
- Responsible for setting up the continuous delivery process to build, deploy, and promote builds.
- Ensures monitoring of applications is configured and have rules / alerts for routine and exceptional application conditions.
