Filmboard is a new age B2B marketplace set to disrupt the way audio visual content is made in India. At the cutting edge of this disruption is technological innovation and extensive feet-on-street. As founders, we have more than 25 years experience in our respective fields and there is nothing we enjoy more than spotting, grooming and helping create excellence among young leaders who are hungry for opportunities.
Filmboard is looking for a technology head who has an innovative mindset, leadership potential and is in touch with the latest in tech developments. You need to be looking to and have the potential to be a thought leader and yet, it's very important for you to be hands-on.
The current tech stack is PHP with CodeIgniter and My SQL. You will be responsible to manage the complete project development and to build a team under you, starting with a couple of developers with a gradual ramp up. Once created, regular management of the complete platform will also be your responsibility. In addition, you should be excitable and updated about the latest happening world wide and suggest and execute innovations.
List of Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Code and develop the Filmboard's web and mobile platform
2. Follow good coding practices; for eg. proper commenting is being done while coding
3. Project Management of the software development including Version control, adherence to timelines, meeting milestones and ensuring that the software is ready to use in the stipulated time.
4. Manage the team of developers by giving them daily/weekly coding targets, monitoring progress vis-- -vis timeline set, maintaining a strong control of the project schedule & ensure that team deliver the software on time
5. Optimize the website on an ongoing basis, based on the usage
6. Look for ways to sharpen the USP of Filmboard in its tech-play.
