Asiaville produces content in multimedia formats, with equal emphasis on Video, Audio and Text, across digital platforms. The languages are English, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. As a part of forward integration programs, we are launching "Outclass" a product on the learning & education space. Asiaville's pioneering multilingual, knowledge empowering initiative.
We are looking for Head - Products (Technology) who will handle the following responsibilities:
- Manage and run the product and tech vertical at Asiaville.
- Ability to manage the existing product and lead in creating new products and develop the project through its entire lifecycle.
- Propose, implement and support new technological solutions that improve business operations. Removes all technological obstacles from business operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery and operations.
- Create short and long term product roadmap for the company to tie in with the core business objectives.
- Proficiency/ orientation towards Machine Learning practices in order to ensure Asiaville websites are best-in-class from a user personalization perspective.
Required:
- 6+ years of experience in product and tech roles.
- Past experience in leading teams. Working both as part of a team and individually to complete projects
- Good understanding of the following technology stack.
- Experience in Angular 4/5 & above.
- Hands on experience in Python (Django framework) is a plus.
- Knowledge in PHP, LMS (Moodle), MySQL is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS & amp; CDN.
- Hands on experience in software development on Frontend technologies (HTML, JS,CSS, J-Query).
- Must have willingness to try and implement new approaches to solving problems.
- Elastic search.
- Strong problem solving skills with great coding and architectural skills.
- Added Experience on Edutech is preferred.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Maintain and improve existing software, architecture, and applications.
