Job Summary :

We are looking to hire an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Engineer who is interested in making a positive impact in an advanced manufacturing environment. This is a key role that will continue the development of our growing smart connected operations by applying operational technology solutions to solve real world business challenges.

Job Description :

- Ability to learn & develop solutions for unique industrial applications using IoT hardware and its software platform like Siemens Mindsphere/PTC Thingwoks/IBM Watson/Equivalent.

- To integrate real-time data from business systems, control systems and industrial devices.

- Well versed with embedded design concepts using sensors, actuators, processors, memory & relevant hardware.

- Proficient with backend or script-side of a dynamic application like OPC that works on request- response architecture comprises of API's, databases, frameworks, service workers and an operating system. Ability to script using one or more languages like C#, PHP, Java, .Net, Python, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL (Server Integration Services & Server Reporting Services).

- Have knowledge about Communication Protocols used in the industrial arena with DCS/PLC such as Modbus RTU. EtherNet/IP. Ethernet TCP/IP as well as Data Collection Protocols like MQTT, CoAP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, UDP, FTP, PDP etc.

- Aware about Web Services using cloud or local server & its applications like SNMP, ODBC, OData and other REST-compliant systems.

- Experience with interfacing IoT device to industrial machines and PLC/DCS. Must be knowledgeable about control system hardware and IP networking.

- Front end experience to develope user centric GUIs with concepts of UI/UX design is necessary. Familiarity with LoRa and NB-IoT both operating on LPWAN technology is advantageous.

- Knowledge of production processes, costs, quality control, raw materials and other methods for maximizing the efficient manufacture and distribution of goods is preferred.

- Basics about emerging technologies such as data science, predictive analytics, machine learning, AI, VR, and AR is a plus.

Qualifications : B.E, / B.Tech. in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical/Computer/Industrial/Information Technology Engineering with minimum 2 to 5 years- experience in the field as described in job description.
