In this role you will:
- Develop Technical Operations strategies to help the organization achieve Service quality, reliability availability and scalability of the production infrastructure
- Experience as a database administrator with at least 5 years experience with MySQL, MongoDB and Aerospike. Certified MySQL, MongoDB DBA is a PLUS
- Demonstrated experience with MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Managing large scale database system is a PLUS
- Responsible for carrying out installation, migration, up-gradation and troubleshooting issues in database to maintain database systems availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot database issues and maintain database systems availability, capacity planning, scalability and disaster recovery planning.
- Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environment
- Support MongoDB to configure replica sets, shards and user management.
- Create analytical dashboards for graphical representation of provided stats using Grafana.
- Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills

- Work independently or with limited supervision to achieve agreed targets and goals to drive team & organization towards next level.
Essential Skills:
- Installation & Maintenance MySQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, AeroSpike, Redis Database in Production, Development & Staging Environment
- Support MySQL database replication (MySQL - Master/Slave replication, load balancing, clustering and high-availability)
- Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and capacity planning
- Experience on efficient Databases Backup and restoration methodology and Tools
- Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability
- Hands On Experience on MySQL - MyISAM & InnoDB engines
- Experience supporting and managing large, complex database environments where single databases easily exceed 1 terabyte on online portals
- Experience on MongoDB knowledge on managing DB Notes, replica set & Master-Slave concepts
- Hands on experience on Cassandra, Redis and AeroSpike DB knowledge
- Scripting experience on automating various database related task to monitors the custom metrics and daily tasks on tools like Bash, Python, PHP, etc.
- Public Managed Databases will be added advantages like RDS, Aurora, Dynamo DB, any other distributed DB technologies
