Job Description :
- We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
- This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Ability to work independently and able to communicate cross-functionally to seek out information when required.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Key Skills :
- Hands-on experience on Javascript/jQuery.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Experience in PSD to WordPress (front-end)/PHP.
- Experience in PSD to HTML and designing responsive pages.
- PHP/JavaScript with good knowledge of web frameworks. Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
- Will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Codeigniter, Zend or Laravel)
- Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & defacto standard plugins
- Experience developing complex wordpress plugins
- Knowledge of JQuery and Ajax along with Bootstrap and Javascript
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Experience with REST-based API Development
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Nice to have a working knowledge of GAE {Google App Engine}
- Preferred WordPress skills : experience with custom post types, taxonomy, short codes, filter and hooks, oops concept, customized/created WordPress plugin, Advanced Custom Fields, Visual composer and CPT.
