- We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join our Engineering team! As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

Location : Vidyavihar, Mumbai
Roles and responsibilities :
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Work in a team environment to ensure project completions
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the website after completion
What you must have :
- 2 - 5 Years of experience in web development
- Expert knowledge of WordPress - custom post types, custom fields, plugins, theme development, WordPress APIs, WordPress database and its table relationships.
- Experience with WordPress Multisite
- Skilled in HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS and Bootstrap
- Good working experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
You are preferred if you have :
- Experience working with frontend framework such as Angular or React
- Excellent communication skills
- WordPress certification
- Experience in working with NodeJS
- Good understanding and exposure of cloud infrastructure like Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with Agile development methods and practices
- Product development background.
