As a Team Lead for one of the Engineering Teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of key modules for our SMB product. You would be leading a team of best-in-class engineers to enhance the product, while at the same time, focusing on optimizing and scaling client delivery.
- You must have hands on technical experience as you will be contributing to the scalable architecture and mentoring junior members of the team to deliver good quality software.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the assigned modules
- Provide the Functional and Technical direction to the team
- Able to understand the requirement and design/architect the solution
- Ensure that the team complies with the quality standards
- Review requirements with Stakeholders and Product Owners for consistency
- Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop technical design
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software domain
- Minimum of 4 years of hands on experience in a software development position focusing on any one of PHP or Node
- Sound knowledge of OO design principles and patterns
- Any exposure to/knowledge of the following frameworks would be beneficial (Play, Spring Boot, PHP Yii 2)
- Well-rounded understanding of the latest technologies in the marketplace
- Previous experience leading teams in software projects
- Experience with using latest engineering tools (eg. Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git).
- Hands on experience in developing RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Familiarity with the AWS product suite.
- Ability to provide leadership for the project's engineering team and work closely with the QA/DevOps teams to ensure the work runs smoothly and free of bugs.
- Strong understanding of web design and development frameworks.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
