Job description
Technical Qualifications
1.Open Source platform: LAMP Stack,PHP5+, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 3+
2. CMS and frameworks: (example - Wordpress, Opencart, Code Igniter, Symfony, Laravel, Zend)
3.Databases: MySQL
4.Restful APIs
5. Other tools: Source repository tools like GIT, SVN
6. Prefer experience with Jira
7. Strongly prefer experience with Agile, Kanban and/or Scrum style development
8. Hands on experience with web-based applications
Education and Experience
- Preferred that the candidate has a Bachelors degree in Computer Applications, Engineering or a related field and/or relevant work experience in the IT field between 3 to 7 years
Communication & Culture
- The candidate should have an understanding of the expectation of supporting a US based firm. It is expected that hours of availability will overlap (primarily US mornings). It is also expected that the candidate is able to have reliable connectivity for video conferencing and instant messaging.
