We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for WordPress development and customization, including creating WordPress plugins.
- This position requires programming skills of PHP, JavaScript and knowledge of HTML5, CSS3. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
- Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is good to have. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, testing and deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
- Work on setup, install and configure WordPress CMS & Plugins
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Developing templates and plugins from scratch
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Implementing effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Solid understanding of WordPress and CMS technologies
- Good to have knowledge of Magento
- Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Strong knowledge of MySQL databas
