PHP Developer - Exp - 3-6 years & Salary - 5-8 Lacs
Job brief :
We are looking for a PHP developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that is proud of and can hit the ground running.
We need you to write beautiful, fast and high standard, and scalable, well commented code along with documentation of the code written.
You will be a part of our core development team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing product development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
Requirements :
- 4+ years of web application development experience in PHP
- Excellent knowledge in Core PHP, MYSQL.
- Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Cake PhP (preferable), Zend, Kohana, CodeIgniter etc.) and developing plugins, components.
- Proficiency with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, AJAX, XML/JSON etc using 3rd party APIs
- Working knowledge in web based mobile apps (i.e. Phonegap & Jquery mobile)
- Ability to optimize UI and responsiveness
- Good knowledge of relational and flat databases (MySql, Mongodb), (already worked on) version control tools (gitHub preferable) and Experience in common third-party APIs (google, facebook, fousquare, here etc)
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- Experience in developing and maintaining Content Management System.
- Experience in open source development like Wordpress, Joomla, Magento and Drupal
- Disciplined approach to unit testing and quality assurance
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or in groups
- Must be a team player and include others in technical/project decision making process.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in order to document and present architectural design and standards.
- Preference for immediate joining.
Responsibilities :
- Write clean, well designed code with proper documentation and comments.
- Produce detailed specifications
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Develop, integrate and deploy REST, SOAP (internal, social and other third party APIs)
- Interacts and collaborates with technical colleagues.
