Backend Engineer
About the Role :
This role involves developing the application based on the Architecture defined by the Solution architect. Lead the team of developers and make sure they follow the coding standards and guidelines. To prepare the unit test cases and make sure that all code is tested at development phase also. To resolve the upcoming technical issues on day-to-day basis. Help the developer to resolve the technical issues.
Requirements :
- Design/development experience.
- Development experience in PHP frameworks. (Brownie points for experience in Laravel)
- Experience using various JavaScript libraries / micro frameworks. (e.g. jQuery, Express, Node, React, Angular, Backbone)
- Expertise in a wide range of web development technologies and methodologies including HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript.
- Understanding of AJAX - asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and integrating browser applications with REST/SOAP web services.
- HTML 5 proficiency.
- Strong understanding of CSS3, and CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS and LESS.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser idiosyncrasies/compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and SVN.
- Experience in working on AWS
- Good to have Node.js experience
- Experience on working with DB like Postgres, Mysql
- Self-directed team player who thrives in a continually changing environment.
