Asia-Pacific TECHNICAL HEAD (PHP,WordPress,Majento skill Must)
We are looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Techno Manager who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our 16 APAC websites in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
Our client is International organisation who creates luxury content for millions of readers in Asia and Europe.
The role Must Haves
The Role will be responsible for:
- Project management, managing timelines and communicating with the business stakeholders across the region.
-Strong understanding of PHP back-end development & WordPress Handson expertise is must.
- 5+ years of full stack PHP, Wordpress, WooCommerce, HTML, CSS,JavaScript, MySQL development skills (other languages beneficial)
- 2+ years Project Management experience, Scrum certifications are beneficial
- 2+ years of Technical Managerial experience
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Building a team of developers, QA for backend and frontend development for our magazines and eCommerce shops
- Setting up agile processes, managing sprints, setting up deployment systems
- Ensuring code quality is maintained and re-engineering where necessary
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Knowledge of how to interact with formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git and Mercurial)
- Experience with web servers (Nginx/Apache)
