Job Description : PowerShell Developer will develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and cmdlets which are used for automation, data collection, and aggregation, end-user self-services in a very agile environment.
Job Requirements :
- Develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain PowerShell scripts and cmdlets based on business requirements using secure coding standards
- Create and maintain documentation, how to- s, release notes
- Analyze requirements, provide robust time and effort estimation
- Code Review
- Interact with other teams and departments on common projects
- Adhere to best practices and coding standards, compliance with DB internal policies
- Stay current on coding standards and techniques and best practices
IT Skills & Experience :
- Strong PowerShell programming/development skills and hands-on experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Power Platform incl. Power Apps and Power Automate
- Hands-on experience running PowerShell in Azure
- Knowledge of common Azure AD / Intune cmdlets
- Advanced SQL and database skills (preferably Oracle based)
- Familiar / hands-on experience with REST APIs (ideally MS Graph API)
- Familiar with Stash/ Git / Bitbucket
- SDLC knowledge
- Jira, Confluence
- Windows 10 client side PowerShell scripting (e.g. installing device drivers, removing software)
- Operating systems skills (Linux (RHEL), Windows, MacOS)
- Familiar with network protocols and systems (SSH, IDAP, AD, DNS, IP, RDP)
- Experience with cloud environments (GCP, Azure)
- Additional programming languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Java) are an advantage
- Frontend skills: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Scrum, Agile methodologies
- Certificates / Accreditations: (TOGAF, Citrix, MS Azure, etc.), Scrum
Soft Skills :
- Strong team player, but can also work independently and is self-motivated
- Willing to learn (self-paced)
- Must be adaptable and quickly understand the new technologies / emerging markets
- Keeps up to date on recent developments in programming and development (Java)
- Good communication skills
- Can work in virtual teams spanning multiple time zones, able to work with a variety of personalities, skill levels, and roles around the globe
- Hands-on person, ability to think outside the box, - getting things done- and agile driven mindset
- Experience in large companies, ideally Regulated Financial Service
- Experience in building Enterprise-Scale Software
