Role Description:
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer responsible for development and maintenance of back-end services. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front- end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Integration of caching solutions
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge in any of the PHP Framework
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Angular JS, HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Strong knowledge in creating REST based webservices
- Good to have knowledge of microservice architecture
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good to have Hands-on working with AWS
- Knowledge on Linux commands
- Creating database schema that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Proficient understanding of Git
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and, team-oriented environment
- Effective time management, coordination skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
