Responsibilities (what the job involves) :
- Lead all technology architecture and development of Mihup Products
- Prioritization, planning & delivery of projects and features
- Build a motivated engineering team - Hire, Train & Mentor
- Work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
- Liaise with Product to understand functional and non-functional requirements and align with the business strategy
- Evaluate and champion new technologies.
- Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features; stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments
- Instil best practices for software development, ensure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
Key Qualifications :
Qualifications/Skills :
- BE/BS/BTech in Computer Science or a related field from a Tier I or Tier II university
- 7 - 10 years of total experience with at least 5 years hands-on experience in software development and system architecture and at least 2 years in leadership roles
Requirements :
- Hands-on experience in analysis, design, coding, implementation, scaling and maintenance of complex high scale distributed systems
- Must have extensive hands on experience writing production grade code in Python with various Python frameworks (Flask/Django/Twisted)
- Expertise in any of the following: C/C++, PHP, Typescript
- Expertise with one or more of: MySql, PostgreSql, MongoDB, Redis
- Have built real-life applications on Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, Container Orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- A solid foundation in software design, data structures and algorithms, and strong analytical and debugging skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical leadership, experience in growing teams and leads
- Prior experience working in a leadership role in a technology start-up is a plus
