Job Responsibilities :
- Design and build enterprise level learning management systems based on Moodle/PHP.
- Perform design, configure, customize and implement responsive and effective LMS systems.
- Implement multi-tenancy scalable Moodle architecture.
- Able to optimise and scale moodle sites; ability to deploy complex architectures including high scalable installations; creating custom plug ins; connecting moodle to enterprise applications.
- Optimize the operations of our current LMS system and fully leverage it to serve the vast learning needs of our customers spread across in various parts of the globe
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the overall LMS system acting as a visualizer and contributor the open source community. Should be well versed with the latest tools & techniques that can be adopted by our existing system.
- Creatively use instructional design, learning methods and appropriate technologies to enhance learning and engage multiple learners through blended learning solutions.
- Create new users and upload new courses into to the system, as well as create custom reports based on evaluation results and employee training statuses
- Analysis of systems, considering reliability, systems risks and code
- Object-Oriented Design (OOD) to ensure scalability and maintainability
- Acting as a champion of code quality and best practices, whilst maintaining and enforcing standards of compliance
- Take a complete ownership of projects and the responsibility for their delivery on time
Job Requirements :
- Must have experience in handling large scale Moodle/PHP implementation of 7000 -10000 users per minute
- Minimum of 4 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in planning, designing, development, implementation and maintenance of Moodle web- based computer information systems, including, experience with cloud based Moodle deployments, as well as, experience with PHP, MySQL, Linux, and Apache based Moodle deployments
- Hard core programming expertise in Moodle LMS customization
- Hands on design, development and debugging of systems
- BCA / MCA / B.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech degree in relevant field or Computer Science
- Working knowledge of : AWS, Linux, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Apache and Moodle LMS & Wordpress; Moodle core contributor
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, confident, enthusiastic and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated excellent administrative, interpersonal and forward-thinking organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate and maintain follow-up on a number of projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
- Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving skills
