Datawave Technologies - Technical Support Engineer - Troubleshooting (2-4 yrs) (Datawave Technologies)

Responsibilities :

- Troubleshooting and solving technical issues and defects

- Highly organized in handling incoming tickets and provide timely and effective communication to customers

- Perform application maintenance activities as needed

- On-call rotation for monitoring and resolving production issues

- Participate in global follow-the-sun handoffs

- As a 24x7 function, support team requires engineers to work in shifts

- Develops knowledge articles or runbooks based on the resolution of issues.

- Continuously develop technical skills in supporting products and services

- Proactively look for opportunities to address technical or process gaps

- Assist in customer onboarding, coordination of deployments and other production activities for the customer applications.

Requirements :

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to compromise and aptitude for learning

- Problem-solving skills and experience in basic troubleshooting of web applications.

- Prior experience in implementing and/or supporting cloud applications is desirable

- 2-4 years of experience in PHP is preferred. Experience in Python and Java are also considered.

- Nice to have some exposure to a combination of technologies such as LAMP, AWS, Go, iOS, Android, Web App, React or other UI frameworks, SQL and databases.
