About mPokket : mPokket is a mobile app-based lending platform showing tremendous growth. We are building a small but capable team of sharp engineers (based out of Whitefield) and would like you to be a part of our journey!
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Functional (System, Regression) and Performance testing of APIs, web and mobile apps.
- Work with test automation tools (e.g: Selenium, Jmeter, Grinder, Gattling etc)
- Automated REST-based API testing.
- Create test data and seed databases, according to the test plan specifications.
- Create Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Case Design, Test data, Test Case Execution, Test Report, Traceability matrix, Log defects, Test Report Analysis.
- Analyze and understand existing test coverage and test cases, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance.
- Design and execution of performance tests (load/stress, stability, latency, endurance)
- Generation and analysis of System's performance metrics, identification of hot spots, bottlenecks, tuning parameters.
- Work closely with the DevOps team for performance improvement.
Skills and Qualifications :
- At least 3+ years of related professional experience in software testing across the full software lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, operations and maintenance
- Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery development environment
- Should have basic programming skills in either PHP, Python or Java
- Working knowledge of Databases like MySQL, MongoDB
- Hands-on working experience with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Familiar with Behavior-driven and/or Test-driven development is a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Self-motivated and self-driven, continuously learning, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
