The purpose of the role is to head IT function of the India office & provide necessary technical & managerial guidance to the immediate team members & other cross-functional teams/members
Technical Skills :-
- Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, python
- Hands-on Experience of the Linux Server with great troubleshooting and optimization skill.
- Experience with deployment of large scale application.
- Working experience on Apache, MySQL, PHP, NodeJS, PHP-FPM, ModSecurity, Fail2Ban setup Operations.
- Exposure to AWS services eg. EC2, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, etc
- Good Knowledge of WHM, cPanel, Plesk Control panel
- SSL Setup for Apache, Tomcat, and Nginx
- Database setup and troubleshooting knowledge - eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Hands-on Experience with at least one cloud provider Azure or AWS
- Hands-on exp with a repository like GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory or BitBucket
-Ability to handle complex problems from design to execution and deliver in time bound manner under constraints.
- Knowledge of continues deployment and integration using different tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Code ship, AWS Code Build, AWS Code-deploy, AWS CodeStar, Terraform
- Knowledge of monitoring and analysis tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Fluentd, Logstash
- Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Salt / Packer Terraform for automation and configuration.
- Exposure to working with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Openshift
- Good understanding of project management concepts.
- Red-Hat Certification is a must.
- Multiple Cloud Certification on Aws/Azure is desirable.
Responsibilities :
- Managing & leading a team of multiple IT members and helping them setup the best IT Practices
- Provide hands on leadership to IT-Team and play an integral role in overall IT growth
- Serve as a hands-on member of the IT team, assisting on projects where needed
- Encourage skill and career growth development within the team in parallel with on-going mentorship and support.
- To understand client's business and functional needs and create customized managed cloud-enabled solutions
- Create and deliver proposals, presentations, pitch documents to address client requirements.
- Design and re-architect Public or Hybrid Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure) to ensure maximum uptime and scalability to meet the client's constantly evolving business needs.
- Administer, manage and monitor the performance of PHP, Java and Dot Net applications deployed on Linux servers
- Monitor and Manage Linux servers for performance and security
- Diagnose and resolve underlying system problems and inefficiencies
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
- Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development life-cycle.
-Communication with prospective clients and engage in functional level discussions on product aspects, features, and benefits.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with the team, clients, and management.
- Should be a very good team player with a go-getter attitude, results-driven, adaptable, inspirational, organized, and quality-focused.
- Understanding of best standards, guidelines, etc. and actually cares about adhering to them.
