Job Responsibilities :
- Design, install and configure internal and cloud servers, network devices and firewalls.
- Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems.
- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
- Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
- Assist with hardware, firewall and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations
- Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
Additional Requirements :
- Exposure on CI/CD tools like Gitlab or Jenkins
- Exposure on setting up and managing GIT repositories
- Exposure towards, DB, WEB and application security
- Hands on experience in configuring services in AWS like EC2, S3 and CloudWatch.
- Managing Backup and Recoveries, NAS server
Hands-on experience in ApacheTomcat server configurations and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience in nginx as reverse proxy
- Hands-on experience in managing and setting up MySQL replication
- Exposure in doing MySQL performance optimization for high traffic applications
Required Candidate profile :
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
- Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional -CCNA/ CCNP MCITP Server
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
- RHCSA or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
- Configuration, setup and troubleshooting the Mail server
- Strong knowledge of distributions like Centos and Ubuntu flavors.
- Knowledge and experience about container-based architectures like Docker
- Good knowledge of BASH scripting, GIT, SAMBA server configuration, policies definition etc
- Knowledge of DNS (PowerDNS), DHCP, MYSQL, EXIM, POSTFIX, Apache, PHP etc.
Min Exp Required - 5+ years
