Job Description :
- We are seeking a Senior Developer - PHP/WordPress, who has expertise in building & managing corporate website based on WordPress. Someone highly experienced & passionate about developing WordPress theme & plugins.
- Someone who has spent at least 3-4 years actively contributing to or building plugins, themes on the WordPress framework. This highly motivated individual must have good organizational and interpersonal skills, have good communication skills, and be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experienced in working with WordPress VIP, GitHub, Docker, CDN & managing High Traffic Websites
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement new WordPress themes, plugins, features & functionality.
- Help to formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the WordPress based corporate web portal.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website, conduct web portal performance tests, and fix all the discovered issues.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, conceptualize & build new features.
- Work as a team player and demonstrate flexibility in any kind of crises situations.
- Understanding the project requirement and write robust code to develop web portals.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science or any other discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in a web developer role.
- Expertise in working and writing code with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript & WordPress CMS.
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming and experience creating a scalable web-based portal.
- Good understanding of backend code optimization techniques, server, and browser cache management.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery .
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Experience developing responsive design websites for the corporate portal.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
- Test-driven development mindset and a focus on quality, scalability, and performance.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tool GitHub.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
