The candidate will be responsible for designing end-to-end web application and learning experiences.
- Conceptualize original ideas which bring simplicity and user friendliness to the design.
- He/she will be responsible for translating information from various sources into sitemaps, pencil, low-fi & hi-fi wireframes and prototypes, test the designs and improve upon it.
- He/she will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience.
- He/she will be involved in creating presentations and catalogues, developing design briefs that suit the purpose of business.
- Ideal candidate would satisfy the below requirements
- Hands on experience in HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
- Hands on experience in Responsive Design and Media Queries. working with developers for resolving front end and CSS/SCSS issues.
- Technology environments like .NET, SharePoint, Windows, PHP.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suit - Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Dreamweaver.
- Experience in working with Java script and Jquery.
- A thorough understanding of Cross-Browser/Cross Platform Web Development Experience in working with MVVM Framework environment.
- Worked in Visual Studio, Xcode, PHP Designer and number of online tools.
- Good knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS. Good knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp - or Photoshop is a plus.
- Good knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Good knowledge of git.
- Basic knowledge of Angular and React JS.
- Five or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital learning environments.
- Expertise in UX & UI software such as InVision, XD, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Photoshop, Sketch, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are preferable.
- Ability to work with product managers to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet the needs and vision.
- Ability to study usage by end consumers and regularly iterate on the app and web experience.
- Good understanding of design principles, knowledge of iOS & Android design principles a plus.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
- Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.
- Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
- Good Communication skills.
