Develop and support network oss systems for its access network, including but not limited to network inventory, resource management, service fulfillment/provisioning, and service assurance related systems.
Industry experience: 5-10 years
Technical skills:
- Fullstack development
- Java, HTML5, Javascript, PHP, sql, database design, object-oriented development, RESTful webservices, etc.
- Others
- Snmp and/or other forms of data collection and configuration of network equipment, etc
- Desirable but not required : Polymer
Knowledge:
- Carrier Ethernet, IP, MPLS, Access, TDM and Sonet networks - both in terms of logical and physical aspects.
- Should be able to understand services and their configurations in each of the above types of networks.
- Understanding of Network Inventory
Past experience :
- Must have hands-on experience in both frontend as well as middleware and backend application development, that needed application of items mentioned in the 'knowledge' section above.
Desirable :
- OSS Systems development experience.
- Prior job experience that involves regular interactions with business.
Others
- Should be curious and willing to learn and understand the business ecosystem surrounding the software applications, beyond coding.
- Should be able to understand business and process issues and design tools & software to address the same.
- Good communication skills.
