SUMMARY:
As a developer, you will develop information systems by studying operations, designing, developing, and installing software solutions. You are a passionate coder and willing to go the extra mile to achieve product goals with a go-getter attitude.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Full Stack Developer, you will work with different teams across the organization and across geographies and time zones.
- You will be involved in the end to end development project lifecycle, from solutions and design to development, migration, and post-production support of our products.
- You will set the bar for the quality of code, software engineering practices, and communication skills - both written and verbal, dealing with complexity and ambiguity, and work closely with your team members.
- You will interact with product owners, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and many other groups to design and develop world-class products in an exciting fast-paced environment.
- You will have a hands-on approach to solving problems
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in SDLC.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- You are required to be a proficient full stack developer with experience in Core Java, REST, JSON, Spring MVC, Angular JS, Bootstrap, Databases (Oracle and MySQL), JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS.
- You are required to be knowledgeable on Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS, Rackspace) and have DevOps experience with Jenkins, JIRA, and build tools.
- Experience with PHP is an added advantage.
- You should have experience in Linux, Eclipse IDE, GIT, Web analytical tools like Tealeaf, firebug, JVM profiling tools, and Distributed Caching (Redis, Memcached)
- Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the end product is high-volume, low-latency, and delivers high- availability and performance.
- You will support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- You should possess the flexibility to learn new technologies and gain domain knowledge quickly.
- Experience with the agile process, including working with scrum teams is preferred.
