JOB DESCRIPTION :
- At least 2 years experience Magento Development in an Ecommerce environment
- Magento 2, PHP, MySQL, Apache, Software architecture and best practices
- Magento 2: building custom solutions both Frontend and Backend
- A good knowledge of frontend technologies: Javascript / CSS
- Experience working with Magento 2 Commerce and Cloud is a plus
- Experience migrating from other platforms to Magento 2 is a plus
- Experience with Ajax and jQuery libraries
- Experience working on custom module and plug-in development on Magento 2
- Must have experience with Git or SDN for pushing/pulling code
- PWA experience is a plus (Vue Storefront, React Storefront, PWA Studio)
- Experience working with other common CMS and Frameworks (e.g Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, etc)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work in a fast-paced Magento Agency with challenging deadlines on projects
- Follow internal Magento development code ethics and review
- Understand task prioritization
- Adapt work inside a Magento team of backend developers, frontend developers, DevOps technicians, SEO specialists, UX/UI designers, Magento solutions specialists
- Daily tasks can consist of Performance Optimization, Extension Customization, Issue Investigation, Custom Functionality Build, etc
- Assist Project Manager on estimating complex tasks or prospect projects
- Track project time professionally and report on project budgets
- Keep an organized project board and email inbox
