We are looking for a dynamic individual who is experienced in Web development using PHP, jQuery, Javascript, and Bootstrap.
When we say PHP, we do not mean WordPress Experience, but Laravel, CakePHP or related framework experience is a good add one.
The primary responsibilities of this position would be :
1. Working on the development of new features for our website which will include :
- Working on the PHP Backend - bugs, new tasks, etc.
- UI development and bug fixes.
- Developing REST APIs in PHP and other programming languages like Python in the future.
- Adding Unit Test cases for the new features developed.
2. Getting involved in discussions for new features for the website and other related products.
3. Be a team player.
4. Managing the 3rd party services we use on our website.
5. Task management using Jira software to track the work that we do.
Following are the preferred skills for this position :
1. Good hands-on experience with PHP 5 and PHP 7+ version.
2. Hands-on experience with jQuery and Ajax
3. HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), and Javascript.
4. Using Git
5. Knowledge of SQL queries and DBMS (MySQL)
6. Knowledge of AWS is an add-on
7. Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD will also be a good add-on.
