In this role you will be responsible for;
- Developing products that account for the end to end solution of a function that is in line with the business objectives
- Working closely with analysts and tech leads to elaborate requirements
- Proactive collaboration in the project team to help develop the product through the whole development lifecycle
- Ensuring governance requirements are captured, and audit requirements met. Demonstrating adherence to controls
- Refactoring and continuous improvements of the code and processes is vital
-Ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated or acknowledged as part of the agile development lifecycle
- Contributing to the ongoing support of the digital apps and ecosystem
- Keen to collaborate with others, and you- ll give thought about how software fits into the bigger picture
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications
- Possess strong technical knowledge in Network Security technologies (covering from endpoints, network, Web server, application server, database server, load balancer, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Detection/Prevention System and authentication services)
- Experience of API and service based architectures using SOAP, REST APIs, micro-services and utilizing JSON for web or mobile applications
- Strong Experience in Python & Django.
Programming Languages:
- B/E Languages: Python, Django, C#, Java, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) Bootstrap, CSS, Ajax, PHP, .NET .
- F/E Languages and Libraries e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML
- Databases: SQL, No SQL, MySQL, Postgresql, MongoDB

- Telephony TCP IP, & Protocols
- Operating Systems, Databases - Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, Mac OS.
- Cloud Platform: AWS, Azure & Google Cloud
- CI/CD tools - Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, GIT, GitHub, SonarQube, Checkmarks
- PaaS/IaaS - Open Shift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure & Cloud bees
- DevOps processes and experience
- Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, XP
Good to Have :
- Awareness of cross-browser/device - responsive- development
- Knowledge of implementation considerations for UI & UX technologies including jQuery, WebSphere, React.js.
- Exposure to Containers (Dockers / Kubernetes)
- Understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices of BDD, ATDD and TDD
- Willing to Work with a Startup on Bootstrap.
