The Position: PHP Developer
A PHP Developer must have strong interests and capabilities to own and develop the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability, to ensure a seamless digital experience
The Contribution
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of thorough backend (PHP preferably) experience and will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
- The candidate will also have good experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. Success in this role means delivering results through teamwork and a relentless focus on what's best for the client, ecosystem, and consumer.
- A successful candidate will be solution-focused, detail-oriented, adaptive to change, and someone who genuinely enjoys being around people.
- Strong knowledge in Core PHP and WordPress.
- Knowledge of any framework like (Yii2, Codeigniter, Laravel) is an added advantage.
- Experience in writing and consuming RESTful Web Services.
- Capability of handling front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON, AJAX etc.
- Good Knowledge in MySQL.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- CodeIgniter experience would be preferred
- Able to manage server and deployment for the relevant environment
- Good to have experience in Redis, AWS
- Proficiency with Git
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Extensive experience working on third party libraries, APIs
- Build and help manage various development, test, staging, pre-production, and production environments.
- Work with the testing team to test the applications as well as fix the defects raised by the testing team.
- Working experience and knowledge of Agile Based development methodology like SCRUM, XP.
- Exposure to working on cloud-based architecture and cloud frameworks such as open stack, AWS, etc would be an added advantage.
- Zest to create something highly functional, useful, something that can set benchmarks
