Job Requirements :
- Work as part of a small project team where everyone is involved in the planning and execution of work.
- Participate in technical design and planning
- Work to fix bugs as prioritized by the client
- Maintain and improve code quality
- Carry out code reviews
- Ensure the performance, quality of applications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Design mobile-based features
- Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usability
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
- Write custom code in proper locations, that will not interfere in software updates
- Ensure that new code is necessary, to avoid duplicating default functionalities of the used platforms
- Ensure that all added code is necessary and eliminate any debug or unused code
- Be aware of the work progress of the dev team, discuss any blockers and try to help
Key Skills And Experience :
- Experience working with CS CART building websites including brochure sites, ecommerce sites and customer defined functionality
- Evidence of experience developing and applying themes
- Portfolio of work or online code examples
- Experience working with MVC frameworks and familiar with Object oriented PHP.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment is a distinct advantage
- Demonstrable experience in using Responsive HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Competent Data skills including MSSQL and MySQL
- Demonstrates core belief in good user experience and best practice
- Understanding of web technologies, browsers and client-side technologies, browser/application server interactions
- Worked in an agile environment
- Use of GIT or equivalent in team based environments
- Developed code with Unit Tests
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Hotjar or other relevant web analytics solutions to produce reports and give business insight and SEO activities would be bonus
