About the role:
This role is for a PHP developer who can graduate into a team lead in a 12-18 months time frame. We are looking for someone with good experience in PHP Codeigniter, LARAVEL, JAVASCRIPT Framework, jquery, and a penchant for user experience
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Delivery of Assigned Tasks
2. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
4. Unit-testing code for robustness, including usability, and general reliability
5. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
6. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
7. Attend Scrum meetings
Skill(s) required:
- Strong experience in CorePHP, MVC Frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel), MYSQL & Javascript skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Pro-active & responsible in approach. Good Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities. Ownership and leadership attitude.
- Previous experience in the development of high-end web applications in PHP, MYSQL, and AJAX.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL databases, including their construction, stored procedures, triggers, and performance management
- Solid Linux background (Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, preferably jQuery
- Strong PHP skills, both in scripting and object orientation (OOPS).
- Worked on Payment Gateways integration such as PayTM, RazorPay, HDFC Bank, Google Pay, etc.
- Experience in REST API development
- Experience in working or integration with 3rd party apps such as Google APIs, Payment Gateways APIs, etc.
- Experience in efficiently implementing Multimedia features e.g., Streaming Media Playback, Video Playback, Camera viewer and recorder, Video Editor and Reduce media file size while uploading.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Previous use of a version control system (Git or SVN).
- Coding standards, organizational programming skills, and good commenting practices are important
Qualification : Relevant Experience, Undergrad and Post Grad(BCA / B.E./ B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / Equivalent) in the related field would be an advantage. We prefer folks with a good academic record.
Preferred Industry: Product pedigree is preferred, Advantage if worked in E-Learning Domain.
